It's engineered into the building itself.
NordSeries brings together high-performance construction, acoustic design, controlled ventilation, thermal stability, natural materials and considered lighting to create guest spaces designed to feel different from the moment you step inside.

01 / SOUND
Keep the outside world outside.
68% of Britons say background noise makes it difficult to sleep.
28% say they need complete silence.
Acoustic comfort starts with the building envelope, not with soft furnishings.
NordSeries uses highly insulated external walls, triple-glazed windows, airtight construction and extensive natural timber within the building to help reduce unwanted external disturbance.
We then consider internal layouts, bedroom positioning, ventilation noise and material choices as part of the complete acoustic environment.
The objective is simple: let guests experience the destination without having to hear all of it while they sleep.
02 / AIR
Fresh air. Even with the windows closed.
A sleeping guest continues to release CO₂ throughout the night. In a small, well-sealed bedroom without adequate ventilation, indoor air quality can deteriorate quickly.
That's why ventilation isn't treated as an optional extra in NordSeries.
Every room is calculated around occupancy.
High-quality MVHR continuously introduces filtered fresh air while extracting stale, moisture-laden air from bathrooms and other wet areas.
Rather than relying on guests opening windows, airflow is designed around the number of people expected to occupy each space.
Our design target is to maintain bedroom CO₂ below approximately 850 ppm under the specified occupancy conditions.
03 / TEMPERATURE
Comfortable shouldn't depend on the weather forecast.
Hotel rooms and lightweight leisure accommodation can be difficult to keep comfortable: cold surfaces in winter, overheating in summer and noticeable temperature changes throughout the night.
NordSeries takes a fabric-first approach.

What does air have to do with sleep?
A Technical University of Denmark study found that better bedroom ventilation reduced overnight CO₂ from over 2,000 ppm to below 850 ppm, and was associated with improved sleep quality and better next-day performance.

Light when you need it. Less when you don't.
Lighting affects how a space functions during the day — but the evening environment matters just as much.
NordSeries lighting is designed in layers rather than relying on a grid of bright ceiling spotlights.
FUNCTIONAL LIGHT

Localised light without illuminating the entire bedroom.

What surrounds you matters.
We deliberately reduce the reliance on highly synthetic interior finishes and use timber extensively throughout NordSeries.
Natural materials contribute to the visual and tactile warmth of the interior while material selection is considered alongside durability, emissions, cleaning requirements and long-term hospitality use.

Deeper Rest isn't one feature.
You can't specify quieter walls and ignore ventilation.
You can't create fresh air and ignore temperature.
You can't create a beautiful natural interior and then flood it with harsh light at 10pm.
The building has to work as one environment.
That's why we engineer sound, air, temperature, light and materials together — from the first wall build-up to the final bedside light.
