Who are NordSeries designed for?

NordSeries is designed for boutique hotels, wedding venues, vineyards, wellness retreats, estates, leisure operators and landowners looking to add premium overnight accommodation. The range is particularly suited to operators who value architectural design, year-round comfort, durability and guest experience.

Can your cabins be used year-round?

Yes. NordSeries cabins and lodges are designed with January in mind, not just July. High-performance insulation, airtightness, glazing, ventilation and heating help create comfortable, year-round guest accommodation for hotels, retreats, wedding venues and leisure sites.

What standard are your cabins built to?

NordSeries uses high-performance, fabric-first construction principles with carefully considered insulation, airtightness, glazing, ventilation and thermal detailing. The exact regulatory and technical specification depends on the model, intended use and project location. Where appropriate, we use passive-house principles and cold-climate design thinking to improve year-round comfort and energy performance.

Do You Ship Internationally?

Yes. THC Homes can supply projects in the UK and selected European markets. Transport feasibility depends on model dimensions, destination, route restrictions and local regulatory requirements, so international projects are assessed individually.

How long does installation take?

Modular delivery can make on-site installation considerably faster than conventional construction, but timescales depend on foundations, access, crane requirements, services and the number or type of modules. THC Homes assesses delivery and installation requirements during project planning and provides a project-specific programme.

What is the NordSeries?

NordSeries is THC Homes' range of Nordic-inspired modular cabins and lodges, designed for premium hospitality and leisure. Models combine considered architecture, high-performance construction and the THC Homes Deeper Rest approach to guest comfort.

Do THC Homes cabins use passive-house principles?

NordSeries uses several principles associated with high-performance and passive-house design, including a fabric-first approach, strong insulation, airtightness, careful glazing selection, mechanical ventilation and attention to thermal performance. NordSeries is not presented as Passivhaus-certified unless a particular project has independently achieved that certification.

What is a Deeper Rest Cabin/Lodge?

Deeper Rest is THC Homes' approach to designing guest accommodation around the conditions that influence how comfortable and restorative a stay feels. Are your cabins suitable for hotels and wellness retreats?

Yes. Our cabins are specifically designed for hospitality environments, including boutique hotels, spa retreats, and nature-based stays. They are built to support longer stays, better sleep, and higher guest satisfaction—key drivers for return bookings and premium positioning

Do you offer bespoke cabin design or fixed models?

NordSeries provides a repeatable range of established models, with controlled customisation available for layout, finishes and project-specific requirements. For larger or strategically suitable developments, THC Homes can also undertake bespoke design work.

What materials do you use in your builds?

We prioritise natural, durable and low-emission materials, including real timber and carefully selected finishes chosen for longevity, performance and a calm interior environment. Materials are considered not only for appearance, but for how they support comfort, air quality and our Deeper Rest approach.

Do you support with planning applications?

Yes. THC Homes offers a Pre-Planning Package for projects that need site assessment, model integration and planning-support information, as well as a Post-Planning Package for projects that already have consent. Where specialist planning consultancy is required, this remains a separate professional service.

How far in advance should I book a build slot?

We recommend securing your NordSeries build slot as early as possible, particularly for projects targeting a specific opening season. Production capacity is limited and lead times vary by model, specification and delivery requirements, so early booking gives you the best choice of manufacturing dates and more time for planning, site preparation and delivery coordination.

What does THC Homes provide beyond the cabin itself?

THC Homes can support projects through Supply Only, Pre-Planning and Post-Planning service routes, covering areas such as site integration, design coordination, planning information, production support, delivery planning and project management.

How are NordSeries cabins manufactured and delivered?
NordSeries cabins are manufactured off-site in a controlled factory environment, then transported to site for crane installation. Foundations, access, services, transport and installation are planned around the specific site and model to create a coordinated delivery process.

Can I visit a THC Homes cabin before ordering?
Yes. You can visit the THC Homes Experience Space to see a NordSeries cabin in person, experience the materials and interior environment, and discuss models, specifications and your project with our team.
